Best Saab Fleet Competition Rules
To enter the competition for this year’s SAAB Convention please follow these rules:
• Your entry must contain only Saabs - 3 cars minimum, up to 5 cars maximum.
• There will be only one category for the competition, with awards issued to the top three winners. ie: No separation between Individual/Family and Business/Corporate fleets.
• All cars must all be currently owned by one family residing together, or one business location. ie: All motor vehicle registrations or titles should show the same address.
• Each car entered must have submitting owner’s motor vehicle registration or title to cover the period of time including the dates of the convention, or be current at time of submission of entry. If there is any question of ownership you may be asked by the SOC staff to submit a photocopy of a current registration or title for each car in the group.
• If you have won First Place in this competition in a previous year, to be eligible for the competition this year, you must enter at least 1 car that was not part of your best fleet entry in the year that you won the First Place award.
• Submit photographs of all the cars, in a group, or individually (photos not larger than 8 x 10, nor smaller than 3-1/2 x 5), and enclose the Entry Form from this web site with information on each car entered.
• Photos submitted will be mounted in a group on a display board for each entrant, or you can build your own display board (foam core preferred) not to exceed 20 x 30 inches. All entries will be displayed at a central location at the SOC. (See example board shown). Photographs will not be returned unless you make arrangements to pick them up at the conclusion of the convention on Sunday afternoon.
• There are no exclusions on who can submit entries.
• Judging will be by impartial judges on site at the convention. Judging procedure will be monitored by SOC Staff. Staff decisions are final regarding all potential issues.
• The competition is sponsored by the Rocky Mountain Saab Club of Colorado. Members of the RMSC will assist the SOC staff in the logistics of checking in entries and hanging the display.
