Larry "Stroker" Williams Spirit of Saab Award

The Saab Club of North America is the proud custodian of the Larry "Stroker" Williams Spirit of Saab Award. This annual memorial trophy honors the memory of a very special Saab owner, Larry Williams, who died in 1998, just prior to the National Saab Convention.

"Stroker," as he was fondly known, was an annual fixture at every Saab convention with his wife Katha, along with his red 1963 bullnose Saab 96 affectionately known as "Sadie." Larry was a true enthusiast and he shared that enthusiasm with everyone he met.

This award is given annually to the person who best embodies Larry's dedication and passion for Saabs. This award was presented to Jack and Pat Lawrence at last year's convention.
